Transmitters for angular position
The slightest movements in machine construction, transportation, and process engineering may be precisely detected and analysed by angle measurement.
If angle measuring systems are subjected to adverse conditions like strong vibration, aggressive atmospheres or wide temperature fluctuations, our patented capacitive measuring system demonstrates its advantages. It is exactly at this point that the non-contact measuring principle is by far superior to optical or resistive systems. In addition, our angular position instrumentation is free of wear and tear and thus also maintenance-free.
Different variants may be selected according to application: The OEM version for installation in customer applications, the mounting of robust designs for machines, and heavy machine construction. We are the first manufacturer world-wide, offering a capacitive rotation angle transmitter which can be programmed and linearised via user friendly software. |

Linear acquisition of angular positions
These conventional rotation angle transmitters measure the position of a shaft and convert it into a proportional DC signal. The angle is determined by two differential
capacitators. This patented analog measuring method is insensitive to shock, vibration, magnetic fields and is superior to optical methods in rough environment. Measurement ranges from 5° up to 270° are possible. Depending on the application the OEM type, field type housing, the ruggedized version for machine-building or the transmitter for position feedback may be selected. There are also versions to be used directly within hazardous areas.

Linearizable acquisition of angular positions
Also the linearizable rotation angle transmitters measure angle positions by means of a patented non-contact, capacitive principle which is therefore completely free of any wear and tear. But the transfer characteristic between angle and output signal is freely configurable. Depending on the application the OEM type, field type housing, the ruggedized version for machine-building or the transmitter for position feedback may be selected. There are also versions to be used directly within hazardous areas.
The device features are fully PC configurable. This has a lot of advantages. So each transmitter can be adapted to his task on-site. Service functions support the user during installation and fine-tuning. For the recording of the linearization characteristic a auxiliary tool is provided, which e.g. allows to record the fill curve of a tank by filling or evacuating.
